The Mousetrap

Good morning,

In 'The Mousetrap' the free ezine from Badbacks2go there is an article on DSE computer  users and 'ergonomic' products. Plus a short overview of products.

When you click on the link you will be taken to the Badbacks2go website where the ezine will open.

Kind regards

Save money - keep workers safe and in work

Are your DSE users safe?

Are you supplying vertical mice? If so, did you know that they can cure one problem only to cause a more debilitiating problem, if used incorrectly?

What regulations applies when you give any equipment to DSE users?

If an employee is advised to sit on a ball chair, what do you do? Can the same result be achieved in a different way?

When would you give an ergonmic keyboard to a DSE user? Why would you use a Goldtouch keyboard?

At Badbacks2go product solutions we can provide tools fit for purpose.

Don't buy products because -

  • They are expensive
  • Somebody called an ergonomic assessor/consultant (a sales person) has you told you they are okay
  • They have 'ergonomic' over emphasised - NO PRODUCT IS ERGONOMIC

We are producing more and more training materials for our clients, for example,

  • Training material for laptop user and laptop assessor (covers Blackberries, PDAs, etc)
  • DSE assessor kit
  • Assessor kit (risk assessment checklists and forms - driving, sitting, stand work, expectant mothers, home workers, old workers, disabled workers

Let us know if we can be of help -  have a good day.

Regards
